A three-way collaboration between NANGA, known for high quality Japanese down, SUBU, who make winter sandals meant to be worn barefoot, and South2 West8.
The base is SUBU's VAMP, new for Autumn Winter 2025. Their HEXMAX INSOLE uses a hexagonal multi-layer cushion that absorbs impact and returns energy as you walk. It is stable rather than sinking underfoot, and is the most comfortable thing SUBU have made. The outer uses HINOC, NANGA's own flame-resistant fabric, which stands up to sparks from a fire and makes the sandal as suitable for camping as for town. All three brand logos are embroidered on the upper. They pack down, and a mesh bag is included.
