About the design

The 7 Cuts Shirt is the core of the Rebuild by Needles project, which remakes vintage clothing into unique "one of one" pieces. Every shirt is built in Japan from 7 second hand shirts. Details vary from piece to piece, with pockets often overlapping and yokes and hems varying in length.

Every Rebuild by Needles piece is cut and rebuilt from different vintage garments, so no two are the same. The piece you receive will differ from the one photographed.

This piece is dyed by hand, so the pattern and depth of colour fall differently on every one.
