Aurora Shoe Co. is named for the village of Aurora in the Finger Lakes of upstate New York, and was founded in 1991 to make shoes sustainably in the United States. They are cut from Horween leather by local makers, and every pair wears in differently.
They shape to the foot as they are worn, and the leather ripples rather than creases, so no two pairs end up alike.

- Flat monk style, fastened with an adjustable strap and a solid brass buckle
- Replaceable Vibram sole
- Made by hand in Aurora, New York
