Danner makes the Mountain Light in its own factory in Portland, Oregon.
Danner's own Mountain Light carries a Vibram 148 Kletterlift outsole. The Engineered Garments make runs the Vibram Sierra sole, used by the military for its versatility and lightness, and seven D-rings where the standard boot has five.
How it is made
- Stitchdown construction, handcrafted on a wider platform for stability
- One-piece full-grain leather upper, with no opening at the tongue
- GORE-TEX lining, waterproof and breathable
