A collaboration between Needles and Kae Tanaka, whose singular characters have a following in Japan and abroad.
She drew a papillon for Needles, and that illustration became an original fabric. Made up in the brand's polyester jersey, it appears here on a Vermuda hat, a pochette and the track series. The result sits some way outside conventional clothing and is the better for it.
