Engineered Garments FW25 Fireman Jacket

The Fireman Jacket draws on documented practices in British and American fire uniforms, particularly the use of double-breasted Melton tunics, and brings their underlying logic into a piece designed for daily life.

The pattern is cut to sit at a length that covers a jacket or a heavy knit. Large front pockets are positioned where the hands naturally fall. A fully detachable liner snaps into the body, adding insulation when needed, letting the jacket slide over other layers without catching. The more adventurous can wear the liner on its own

Reinforced rows of buttons anchor the double-breasted closure, an approach that balances the visual weight of historical brass hardware with the needs of contemporary wear. The collar includes a throat strap, allowing the coat to function as true weather protection.
