Engineered Garments Bedford Jacket
The Bedford Jacket is one of the label’s most recognizable and enduring designs.
The design itself reached further back, to a late nineteenth-century barber’s chore jacket. Its four pockets and simple body provided the starting point.
The body is boxy, with little shaping and no vents.
Four patch pockets sit directly on the outside, giving the front a practical, straightforward arrangement.
Against that simple construction, the peaked lapels and two-piece sleeves introduce the refinement of a tailored jacket.
