Engineered Garments x Kamakura Classics - Western Shirt - Chambray
KAMAKURA CLASSICS is a new brand out of Maker's Shirt Kamakura, set up to put American traditional style, with the Ivy look as its starting point, through Japanese making of a high order. Engineered Garments rebuilds American classics with a contemporary reading and details of its own. The two have collaborated for the first time, under Daiki Suzuki's direction, and the result is two original shirts that begin with the classics and carry details that have not been done before.
The Western Shirt, whose tail is deliberately left finished with an overlock thread. The front and the cuffs are made up as a fly front, and a western yoke runs across the shoulder and the back. Setting the rough against the refined is what gives a classic shape a new expression.
