The Andover pant, the plainest and most basic trouser Engineered Garments makes, cut on classical trouser lines. It is roomy through the hip and tapers from there, and the hem is turned up. The wool serge is an Engineered Garments standard, the cloth used for American police and fire uniforms, with a refined lustre and colour and the strength to go with it.
